Salumu Marwa is the Executive Director of the Foundation for Development Organization. Since March 2012 to current. He is an active and visionary social worker with over 10 years’ experience. Mr Salumu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Augustine University of Tanzania. Attended social impact, planning for success training at philanthropy university. He serves as a loan program officer at Mazingira Savings and Credit (SACCOS) and program manager at Magu Aids and Environment Group.
Magdalena is an environmental manager at FODEO. She holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning & Management from the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP). Trained in project management. She has 5 years’ experience in rural project implementation.
Massamakeri joined Foundation for Development Organization in March 2019 as Accountant and Financial Manager. Have 30 years’ experience in financial management. He holds a Certified Public Accountant (Tanzania - CPA(T)), Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy, Advanced Diploma in Accountancy at the Institute of Accountancy - IAA. In Tanzania, he served in a number of government districts.
Head of Early Childhood Development holds a certificate of secondary education and has trained in childcare through the Equip program. She is responsible for managing the child safety policy. Works for FODEO since 2009 and helps to build two classrooms at Isuka primary school. This will help children learn under the tree and build 8 toilets in Mwabayanda primary school for girls between the ages of 6 and 10 to improve learning.
Human resources manager. In the past, he worked for a variety of organizations. Graduated from Olmotony forestry training institution with an advanced diploma in forestry. Served with FODEO since 2014. Participated in the improvement of the Opportunities and Obstacles to Development (O&OD) Planning Process conducted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency. Worked on Vi Agroforestry to promote sustainable agriculture land management (SALM) practices.
Finance analyst at the Foundation for Development Organization. Since 2019, she has served FODEO for three years as a graduate in accountancy and financial management. Holds a bachelor of accountancy and financial management. Gain experience working for different organizations as a volunteer.
Coordinator for women's economic empowerment at the Foundation for Development Organization. Holds a degree in community development from the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP). She has 5 years’ experience in rural project coordination gained through working on various projects at FODEO.
Coordinator for youth at the Foundation for Development Organization since 2019. Have experience of working with adolescent girls and young women on sexual reproductive health and rights. With a certificate in Advanced Secondary Education, he has attended training in Social Communication and Behavioral Change Communication. Coordinators of peer change champions, whose main task was to gather together all Youth and Adolescent Girls in schools. They did this by hosting youth meetings in villages and other places where they were mostly found, such as business sites and playgrounds.
He has an Advanced Diploma in Forestry Management from Olmotonyi Forest Training Institution. Since 2018, he has worked for the Foundation for Development Organization. In Tanzania, he served Magu district as tourism and forestry manager, CARE International in Kahama, Tanzania Communication and Development Center-program manager, Femina Hip as master trainer on girls' power under DREAM Innovation, and TMARK Tanzania as regional SBCC officer in Shinyanga under Tulonge Afya project.
